What would life be like if you were best friends with the protagonist of your book? What kind of life does he or she lead? Would this be a positive or negative relationship? Would your family and friends approve of this person? Be specific.



The book I'm reading is called "Life as We Knew It." If I was firends with the protagonist, Miranda, it would be a strained friendship, because of the all the horrible things that are happening in the world with the moon being closer to Earth. She leads a hard life because she has to help her family to get through these tough times with the moon being closer to Earth, food and oil being so scarce, no electricity, and extremley cold weather. This would be a positive and negative relationship. It would be positive because we could talk to each other about everything that has been going on and be there for each other to lean on. It would be negative because it would be hard to see each other and talk to each other with the air being cloged with ash form the volcanos and it being really cold and not safe to go outside alone due to gangs and violence. My friends and family would approve of her because she is kind, understanding, and cares for all of her friends and family. It would be nice to have a friend like Miranda if this really did happen to us.
